Getting Mortgage Ready

Welcome to the joys of starting the homebuying process. A house is probably the biggest purchase you will ever make, and it is imperative that you put yourself in the best possible position to get your house. As the infamous Leslie Jones said "if you're prepared, you don't need to be scared."

I take the scariness out of buying a house by getting you beyond qualified, if that is even possible.

Getting Mortgage Ready focuses on:

* Your Credit.  Your credit score influences how much the loan is going to cost you, so if we need to spend time getting your score up or fixing valid mistakes, I will help you get that done.

* Your Income.  The stability and variability of your income is going to influence your overall purchasing power. Covid-19 has effected people's income, so I make sure that we can use as much of it as we can.

* Your Funds to Close. How much you can put down is going to influence your purchasing power and the different loan programs you can use.  I analyze your accounts and your sources of funds to make sure we can use every last penny.

* Your employment. Your type of employment and employment history influence your being able to be qualified to get a mortgage. Again, Covid-19 has played havoc on people's lives, so I make sure that you have a solid employment history so that you can qualify.
